VGF Lake vs BLT Theme Park

I am doing a Halloween 2021 trip for a posh friend with posh tastes. This is likely their only trip to WDW ever.

I have narrowed this down to VGF Lake View 2BR or BLT Theme Park 2BR. I've never stayed at either. Which room would you pick?

I would guess maybe fireworks are back by then? At least some fireworks?

“Posh tastes” = VGF, 100%. BLT feels tasteful and understated; VGF feels “posh”.

It seems some people only see the BLT parking lot when they are in a MK view room.

I’d guess a “posh” person would be more likely than average to complain about seeing that parking lot.

If you want a fireworks view, BLT. VGF Lake View does NOT face the fireworks in a meaningful or viewable way.

We own at BLT but have stayed a few times at GFV. Grand Floridian rooms are much nicer than BLT. GFV just used upgraded materials all around during construction. Also the GF resort just has a more "posh" feel than BLT or Contemporary.

All that said, there's something about being able to open your curtains in the morning and see the castle or watch the fireworks from your balcony. I think if your friends are big Disney people I'd go BLT. If they are just coming along for the ride, I'd go with the GFV as the accommodations are a step up.
