VGF Impacts During NBA Stay

What are everyone's thoughts on how the NBA will impact VGF stays in July/August? I feel like we've moved resorts a hundred times due to continuing closure, Jambo being left out, SAB being closed, etc. Now find out last night that several NBA teams will be residing at GF during our revised stay. I know that at least initially the Beach Pool, quick serve and one sit down restaurant were scheduled to be open in the main building, if we can access that and the monorail we will be happy campers even if the out buildings, nicer restaurants (never mentioned as opening anyway) other pool and conference center are fenced off. Running out of places to flee for the first week of August!!

Honestly, I think they will keep the main building open and find a way to serve NBA without impact to VGF guests.

I also think they will keep Poly hotel rooms closed so that only PVB has guests.

Courtyard pool isn’t slated to open so that can be easily kept for them.

I have heard initially that off site guests will only have access to ferry so I think that would allow monorail to still be used..

There are 2 Concierge Lounges. I would think one of these would become an NBA-only lounge. They could also set up an NBA Concierge Lounge in the convention center, but that would be less convenient for the players.
The lower ranked teams are staying at the GF and Yacht Club, so if they exit the tournament early, it would free up the facilities at the GF. The season starts July 30. The bottom six teams will be going home after the first 8 games.
