I hope your stay is better than ours. we booked a one night stay at VGF at the end of our vacation 2 weeks ago. we were so excited to be trying out the resort but was left with a not so magical experience. From the front desk right to maintenance we were left to feel like we shouldn't have been there and they were doing us a favor giving us a room at all. when we checked in they used the words that due to limited room availability they are able to meet my "request" of a studio standard view but it will have to be a HA room. HA or regular room it was a reservation not a request our only request was since we were only there one night we had asked for as early a check in as possible. it was around 4:15 when we still had not heard anything about the room that we called and after being on hold for 5 minutes we are told the room was ready and given the number. we get to the room and Mouse keeping has a sign that they are still servicing it. Keys don't work so we go to the front desk where they seemed to be annoyed that we were given the room number already and the guy at the desk also says they are behind cleaning some rooms as they work on those with longer stays first. Seriously???? they make a call and tell us they've activated our bands off we go only to get to the room and the bands don't work. Hubby is off to the front desk where he is not too happy at this point, they "activate his band and tell him the others will work soon....nope only his band works for the rest of the stay. We get in the room and while it looked clean it was in sad shape. 2 small tables by the couch are scratched, stained and chipped all around. Toaster was melted along the top, kitchen cabinet would not close all the way, TV in bathroom would not work, vent above the toilet was filthy and the final issue was with the toilet paper holder. the piece that holds the toilet paper was missing the spring and instead of mouse keeping replacing it they just stuck it back on the mount with the toilet paper in it. Problem was when you went to use the toilet paper it fell off the wall......we called Maintenance 2x that day and once the following day before we checked out and no one ever showed up or called. very disappointed.
