There is a check in area in the villas.

The front desk at VGF I believe opens at 7:00 am and it ends at 10:00 PM. All other hours you need to go to the Grand Floridian and check in there.

It is not valet service, but they do have a (non-tipped) greeter who will let you drive up, remove your luggage, and leave your car there until you get checked in, at which point you park it yourself. If you wish, the greeter will call Bell Services to take the luggage to your room - or if your room is not ready, they can store your luggage so you can enjoy the resort or the parks, and come back later to have Bell Services deliver to your room.

Note: Information is current as of March. They may have added additional services since then, but I don't think so.

And they will offer you the use of a luggage cart if you need one. You just have to ask. This is just at the villas, not the hotel.

Yup, was just there last week and this was still the case. We left the car up front with the greeter. We than checked in, came back out and self parked while the greeter held our bags at the entrance.
