After seeing a few comments about VGF and GF being for retirees and empty nesters and not for families with young kids, I am questioning my reservation at VGF for DD6s surprise birthday trip. Thats just not how I envision VGF and GF
I envision it for families as well as a romantic setting for young couples and retirees and everyone in between.
We own at BLT and have tried AKV and SSR. DD6s favorite resort is BLT she likes AKV too but still prefers BLT. I guess that I have heard that BLT isnt really kid friendly and she likes it so maybe VGF will be fine for us.
I initially booked BLT for the trip at 11 months and was going to switch to AKV at 7 months because we have been alternating between BLT and AKV but I was lucky and managed to snag VGF .I figure this will probably be the one and only time we will be able to do that since we dont own there.
Anyway, is it not kid friendly at GF? Or is it just not as kid friendly as other resorts? My understanding is that there isnt a community hall there but that isnt a big deal as we never have time to go to the BLT hall anyway. Do they have activities for kids at the main pool at GF?
