VGC Reservation on MYDISNEYEXPERIENCE App?

I rented DVC points for a May 2016 reservation. In the past I was able to enter/link my VGC reservation numer in my MDE App (It worked for my December 2014 reservation).

For some reason this new reservation is not working. Has something changed? I called Disneyworld and they said that it would not work. I don't think there is a separate app for Disneyland. Is there?

Has anyone else been able to link their VGC reservations (Made through DVC) on the MDE app? It is nice to have piece-of-mind and actually see your reservation when you are a renter.

I am a VGC owner and have never been able to link my reservations to MDE. There is a website for DL but it doesn't recognise DVC reservations either only hotels ones.

DL IT is way behind WDW.

Thanks for your reply. Funny that it worked for my December 2014 trip.
This is the second time I am renting from this VGC owner so (fingers-crossed) hopefully everything will work out.

I have been able to in the past, and I currently have an Aulani reservation linked that I can see. I've even linked Disneyland restaurant reservations in MDE, and it's showed up as the correct restaurant, though the reservation showed up in an east coast time. I haven't had a Disneyland reservation in about a year, so I don't know if they don't work anymore (though like I said, the Aulani reservation is currently showing).

I've had them show up under reservations before in the past but cannot link now. When you input the number it wants more information and the drop down box does not have DL hotels listed so it's not possible anymore - probably part of WDW having MDE but not DL.

Aulani does have online check in and you can look them up.
