Veteran's day

Could anyone tell me what the crowd's are like on Veteran's day?
We're up here in Canada so we call it Rememberance Day! Not everyone gets out of school or work except the bank's and financial district. Do the school's in the States get the day off?

Most, but not all, schools are closed (at least where I live.) I will be at Disney World that weekend, too, and it seems there are several things besides the holiday that will be affecting crowds. The Super Soap weekend at MGM, Food and Wine festival at Epcot (the reason I want to go this time of year) and something called New Jersey week....apparently most of the schools in New Jersey are closed for teachers' meetings and lots of people use the time for a WDW trip. I'm not too worried about crowds though....I plan to go with the flow and take it easy! Have fun!

I was at MK two years ago on Veterans Day, and it was a madhouse. I would not do it again. Maybe the other parks would be better that day, or perhaps a nice relaxing day at the pool. I remember the weather was awsome.
