Veteran's Day week 2021?

we are considering a trip november 6th to the 13th with veterans day being thursday the 11th of that week.
crowd calendars are calling for heavy crowds..

our schools here in NJ are not closed for veterans day so I was wondering how affected the crowds really are that week.
And "Jersey week" is the week prior.
any insight for possible crowd levels would be great thanks!!

Curious as well...we have "blocked off" for vacation November 3-14 but I am worried now it will be rough.

We've gone near Veteran's day many times over the years, either a long weekend or full week. I feel like it has gotten more and more crowded every year to the point we avoid it now. I personally think it will be extremely busy with it being on a Thursday. It allows people who have it off to get a 4-day long weekend with only 1 vacation day/1 day of missed school. Factor that with F&W, the very early stages of WDW 50th and most people being vaccinated I think the whole fall will be extremely busy.

Most people who have gone recently and said the crowds have grown still seemed to have a great trip. We did 2 days in early March and it was crowded but manageable if you rope dropped. I think as long as you manage your expectations I think you'll have a fun trip.

We are local (7 years now) and before that often visited during that time. We've found that Veteran's day isn't widely observed and doesn't seem to have a significant impact on crowd levels. Especially true if it doesn't fall on a Friday or Monday.
