Veterans Day at DLR

For those of you who have been, can you tell me what to expect as far as Veterans Day (and the day before/after)? I would like to know about crowds, but more importantly, what were the park hours like? Was it more like a 'weekend' schedule with extended hours and fireworks, even if Veterans day was on a weekday? What day is more likely to have fireworks, the night before V-day or the actual V-day when most kids are off from school? Thanks in advance!

Last year day before and on vets day DL park hours were 8-12...don't know about fireworks.
