Thank you @GADisneyDad14 and @yulilin3. I totally missed that top link and was looking for the word "modify"

What I can't find (and could totally be missing it!) is a way to check FP availability at other parks? Does anyone see if this is an option?

Same as before. Just go through the process of making a FP and you will get the warning....just Continue with this Guest for each guest.

I've only played with it for a few minutes but I don't think it changes much. Modifying an existing FP to a different time when there are no times currently available may take an extra step but otherwise not much different. I guess the only other thing would be if you're modifying a time you won't be seeing other rides that you could choose instead so you're doing one or the other but that's not the end of the world.
