Very worried....should I call?

I just booked our August trip at Pop Century. Today was the last day to get free dining applied. The online booking never prompted me to put in any dining code. It didn't seem reflected in the reservation confirmation. Will I automatically get the free dining because I booked today or should I call reservations?

I would call reservations and double check. Last year we did free dining and when I got the e-mail confirmation it was not listed on the reservation so I called and it turns out it was not added for some reason. They took care of it quickly though.

Yes, this. OP I really hope you called and worked it out because you wouldn't have had free dining unless you did it that way. Just booking a regular reservation on the website won't get you free dining.

We got free dining last November plus one table service. I am a control freak so I called and made sure a few times it was on there. The Cast Members are awesome! I am hoping to get free dining for October but have to wait til they extend free dining again.

Yeah you have to click under special offers and then book from there. I would definitly check because yesterday when I booked mine- some of the weeks are blacked out where you cant get free dining. I had to bump mine ahead 2 weeks.

This!! You can't go through the regular booking section-- you must click "special offers" on the top left. Since the last day was yesterday, you might be out of luck. . .
This is why I ALWAYS call to do our vacation packages. Dining reservations I'll do online, as well as plane tickets, but for the package, I need a person to tell me exactly what I am getting!

OP here. So, I called. Bad news. They said the promo ended yesterday. There is no way to add the code as it is out of the system. Now I don't know what to do. I've left the ressie alone, hoping for a pin code or some other discount offer. If worse comes to worse I'll cancel because there's no way I'm paying rack rate w/out free dining. Soooo mad at myself for letting this happen. Maybe it's the universe's way of saying we can't afford it. LOL

That's too bad. I would've thought there would be a grace period esp. since it ended the day after your booked it and you explained your mistake.

That's too bad. Why didn't you call yesterday? I don't feel they should offer you anything, the offer ended yesterday. Hopefully something new and just as good or better offer comes up for you.

I would call back and try to speak to someone higher up. All you can do is hope for some of that magical pixie dust. Since she booked during the time that free dining was offered for a trip during the time that it is available, I don't think that it would be unheard of for them to give it to her. It would be different if she had not made a reseervation and wanted free dining after it ended. Be extra nice when you call and hope that you get something extra nice in return. Maybe even be ready to cancel the reservation when you are talking to the manager. I don't know how much leyway they have in offering incentives to people ready to cancel.
