Thank you CRS7568 for that nice compliment! Unfortunately, no matter how hard I try, I seem to always end up the black sheep of the family.

Oh well, I will keep trying!
Here's a funny for instance that just happened last night... I drove my MIL and my three young ones down from WNY to Va Beach for Easter (dh had to work). 13 hours in the car!

So, last night, after driving for 12.5 hours straight (kids bouncing off the van walls), my MIL gives me BAD directions and gets us lost in the middle of hicksville (on a dirt road no less) because "this way is shorter". I, like a dummy, believe her (even though she is in fact "losing it"). She insists she is right all the way up to "I don't remember this being a dirt road"...

30 minutes later we find our way back to where I was! NOW, don't get me wrong, everyone makes mistakes, but after driving for 12.5 hours straight, having a migraine, being tired... I WAS PISSED! Didn't speak to her for the rest of the way home (30 minutes) but still helped her with her luggage when I dropped her off.
AND NOW THEY ARE MAD AT ME!! for being upset... go figure. I paid for the hotel on the way down (after she promised to pay for it), all the gas... and now she is mad at me and probably talking about this to the rest of the family!!
Yes. Lesson learned.
