Very Surprised..Points re-instated for loud noise!!

Hi All,

I posted earlier about the fact that while we were at OKW there was an extremely LOUD private party at Typhoon Lagoon and it went on until 3:00 am. We finally got to sleep at 3:30 am!!

Anyways, my DH spoke with Laurie, the manager to inquire as to whether or not OKW was like this on Fridays evenings all the time. This was our first stay at home. We chose OKW over BWV (resale) because we wanted the time for quiet enjoyment after busy days at the parks.....Anyways, he was really not complaining, just more or less inquiring and concerned....well, Laurie called and had MS reinstate our points for that Friday evening!!!!!!!! We were very surprised and happily at that!!!!!!! Pixie Dust was sprinkled on us!! I guess she was able to work some of her Disney Magic for us!!

We had a wonderful first stay and can't wait to go back in July............
 
This is an excellent example of what customer service should do and why we all love The Mouse.
 
Wonderful news! it's always nice to receive something unexpected that is full of pixie dust.
 

Thanks for taking the time to tell about good service. I know it happens a lot but it makes us feel better to complain. Again, I'm glad for you for the way things turned out.
 
That was very nice of MS.

I read about your noise problem and it was too bad that it happened. OKW is normally very quiet.
 
I am so glad that they rectified this situation for you. Sometimes just the manner that we as members address and verbalize to the CM's makes a difference. I am happy to see that in this instance you were truely treated as owners at your home. Take care, Tammy
 
Congrats on your pixie dust!! I'm glad that they responded like they did... We've stayed at both OKW & BW Standard views, and we've never been kept awake by anything! I'd have been very upset that night if we were there!
 
That is terrific news!!! I am glad to see that Guest Relations/Membership Services is trying to keep DVC guests happy. That kind of noise is not a normal occurrence at OKW--or at least it never has been before. Congrats on your good fortune!!
