Very Surprised. Just told alot of availability Thanksgiving

I just called MS in hopes of making a reservation for Thanksgiving weekend at my home resort SSR. I was throuhghly prepared to be told that nothing would be available.

But.......Yippee . I just booked a studio for the Wednesday before Thanksgiving for 5 nites leaving on Monday the 30th.

Actually, I was very surprised to be told that there was alot of availability for that time period.

Doesn't surprise me. The days just before and after Thanksgiving are premier season, meaning the highest point cost. It's also a very crowded time in the parks. Lots of DVC folks stay away then.

The days around and of Thanksgiving is in Magic Season not Premier. Wed-Friday, The other days are choice season.
