This is possible the stupidest things I have ever though of (but DH would say its not!) :rotfl::rotfl:

If I do Virgin twilight check in do I
a) have to check ALL the bags in
or
b) can I put an extra bag on in the morning?

I want to use the gym at the hotel before breakfast (well thats the plan anyway :rotfl2:) but wondered if we put our luggage in at twilight check in, can I add another bag the following morning? (Dont want to take stinky gym kit in my hand luggage :rolleyes1)

I could be wrong but I think you have to check in all your bags.

i'm pretty certain you need to check in all your bags, you might be easier to do online check in and then just go to bag drop in the morning

If you are flying with Virgin Atlantic from London Gatwick

You can take advantage of the Twilight Check In service. You can check in for your Virgin Atlantic flight, the night before departure, from 12pm to 9pm thus avoiding the peak hours of check-in.

To take advantage of Twilight Check-in, ALL members of the party travelling should present themselves at the Twilight Check In desk, based in the South Terminal of London Gatwick airport, with their tickets, passports and luggage. Passengers will be asked the standard security questions and you must leave a local contact telephone number where you will be staying over night. Please note that should you need to check in an additional item of baggage on the day of departure, you must join the regular check-in queues.

Hope that helps :)

When we did this, we took old toiletries and old clothes etc, then threw them away in the morning, so that we did not have to re check in any more luggage.
