Very specific question about Meeting Mike and Sulley

We are going to Hollywood Studios on day of arrival. We will be in the park just in time for our 2:45 reservation at Sci-Fi, then want to do the Lights, Motor, Action show at 4:00. (Not my fav, but son is dying to see) Will we have time to do the Mike and Sulley Meet and Greet after the show? The meet and greet ends at 5:00, so that allows 20 minutes to get in line after 4:40 end of LMA. Do they leave at 5:00 on the dot, and will 20 mins be enough time to see them if so? Can we meet them as long as we are in line by 5:00? Sorry to be long-winded for such a small question.

Barring an abnormally long line, 20 minutes should be plenty. Since they don't talk or sign autographs, the line moves pretty quickly.

So I think your only obstacle would be if/when they cut the line off. For many characters, they stop letting people in line a few minutes before the meet-and-greet time ends. But I've never been to Mike and Sulley at that time, so hopefully someone else can provide some insight. Good luck!

luckily LMA is very close to the Mike and Sulley meet/ greet so you should be OK on time (unless as the PP mentioned they have cut the line off)

I don't know if it's still this way or not, but when we were there a few years ago, Mike and Sulley were never together. We waited to meet one, and then later when they switched, we waited again to meet the other one. I don't know if that was unusual or standard.

We went in September of this year and they met together.

One note, be sure to leave LMA slightly early because the stands bottleneck when it lets out. I'd sit close to an exit, preferably on the lower deck.

For LMA, sit near the bottom of the stands at the end of the row close to an exit so you can leave quickly. You might want to head out just before the end of the show.

Depending on how many want to meet Sully and Mike, the line can be cut off earlier so that the characters can leave at 5:00 at the end of their M&G time so it is best to prepare your son that he might not get to meet them.

One other thing I noticed is you have a 2:45 reservation at Sci Fi. Hopefully since that is the middle of the afternoon, you will be seated with a minimum wait, but often Sci Fi is running behind schedule and we've ended up waiting past our reservation time. You might want to ask for the bill while you are eating so you won't have to wait at the end of your meal. While Sci Fi is fairly close to the LMA venue, it is a long walk because you walk all around the stadium and enter from the back.

Ideally if you could get an earlier reservation at Sci Fi it would be better, but since you said it is your arrival day, are driving or flying and what time you will be arriving?

If you go to the Disney World website, select the date that you will be there, then the park. It will pull up a list of experiences scheduled for that day. The character schedules only appear about two weeks before said date, however you can make an educated guess based on their "usual" appearance times if you are not within that window.

As long as you're in line before 5pm you'll get to meet them. They just close the line at 5pm.
