We have a big family trip coming up. We are staying at different resorts but will be meeting my brother's family and their 6 kids at the airport. :scared1: Our arrival times should be within 30 minutes of each other. We would like our oldest DD to help DSIL with her 5 little ones and I will take the oldest of their brood with me. Will we be able to do that? I know it sounds complicated, but in reality it is the same number of passengers on the bus. I didn't know if we would have a problem with switching an adult passenger (my DD) for a child?

Sorry to say you will most likely not be able to do that.

There is no set schedule on which resort goes on what bus.

It works like this: When you arrive you will be "scanned in" and told which line to get in for your resort.
Each bus then takes 2-3 resorts and the driver decides in which order he/she will drop off in.

Since you are staying at different resorts, there is no way to know IF both those resorts will be on the same bus.
(per bus is usually a deluxe, mod, value)

So your family will need to be on the bus in which is going to the resort you are staying at. And of course the other party as well. The chance it will be the same bus....is slim. I would make other arrangements as this is risky, especially since your DSIL is relying on help.

Have you looked into renting a towncar?

Provided you meet and swap kids *in the airport* before checking in for ME, you should be fine. They don't check ID for all of the passengers, they mostly want to make sure that the right number of people are getting on the bus for each reservation. As long as you are doing a one-for-one swap, I would think it would be fine.

I'll defer to others who use it more often, though. I've only done it a couple of times.

Sorry to confuse you. We WILL be on different busses (CSR and OKW). We already knew that. Just want to make sure my DD (who is an adult) can switch places with ones of her kids who is obviously a child:confused3

Yes, Brian. That is exactly what we hoped to do.

I'm looking at my ME documents and nowhere does it list whether a passenger is an adult or a child. Switch before you get to the podium as Brian suggested and then its just a head count.
