I see such wonderful pictures of people...are there people along the race taking your picture? I would love to take my camera with me but I'm positive that I wouldn't be able to pull that off...but getting pictures on me and my sister running the marathon together would be so wonderful!!

ASI has photgraphers all of the course taking pics for you to be able to buy. They do a go job but aren't cheap. If you bring your camera, a cast member will take your pic of you with them for no charge.

Oh, you've got to take a camera! I never travel w/o mine when I'm doing the event. You just never know when you can take advantage of an opportunity.

DO you run with it? If so...where do you keep it? I hate having to run with my keys and phone....:goodvibes

I kept a camera in my Spibelt for the half and full and it worked out great. Got a lot of really good pictures.

I have never heard of a Spibelt. I have to try to go find what it is! Thanks!:thumbsup2

I actually have a waist pack that I wear and take my phone, camera, water, gels...

I showed up with my camera on Saturday for the half, and realized I left the SD card in my laptop from the Friday night POP Century meet. Ooops.

Oh well, I was able to take about 12 pictures with the internal memory.

Without stopping for each and every character, we ended up running faster than we wanted on Saturday. We were trying to save our legs for Sunday's full.

On Sunday I took the camera (with SD card) with me, but it stayed in my waist pack, because I was trying to PR this day. It worked!

Moral of this story, always carry a back up SD card!

I'm sorry but what does "PR" mean?

I'm addicted to my camera and taking pictures. I need to have my camera with me!!!
