Very nice family wknd mini-vaca -- just what we needed

Oh DH, DS and I had a very very nice weekend. Lots of family time - playing ball in the pool, checking out the petting zoo/birds, going out for dinner, even shopping.
Certainly something every family needs now and then. Looking forward to spending our cruise together in November.

There is nothing more special than spending time alone with your family. With my girls both in college, family time is a rarity. We go to WDW 1/1 to 1/7 and I can hardly wait. I love nighttime when we're all in bed and start to talk. Those are some of the best conversations we've had. I love family vacations. (But, I can also hardly wait for 9/7 when Stephen and I go alone to WDW. That's pretty fun too!!!)

That is so cool....Family time has been rare around here with DH working lots of extra hours and stuff, but have a had a great summer at the lake and outside with the girls. I hate when they go back to school and so do I
