I was browsing this weekend and ran across a site called
Flightaware
sorry I can't post a url yet.
basically it is a real time flight tracking site. you can actually follow a flight from its's depature from an airport to it's arrival in real time ( well there is a 6 min delay) You can look at a specfic airport such as MCO watching the aircraft traffic around it or track a single flight across the nation. On a single flight it will show speed in knots which pretty close to MPH and also show the planes current altitude. I enjoyed tracking the plane we would fly in to WDW and seeing how fast it moved. Anyway this may not be for everyone but I thought it was very neat
