We are doing a 3 night in November because we have never been on a Very Merry (Im a teacher and am taking 2 personal days to do it). I know they can't do all of the the activities/events they used to because of covid. Anyone from a previous Very Merry have an idea what they CAN do with social distancing, etc? It's just me and DH and we are 58 so the little kid stuff is not an issue. But I love Christmas! We have only scheduled a palo brunch so we can spend most of our sea day just relaxing or looking at Christmas things.

No one knows and probably will not know till the first sailing and even then Halloween has evolved from the first cruise onwards and it’s only week like 3

Expect the tree and decorations and be surprised by the rest

We're adults only and have done a Very Merry Disney cruise pre-covid. It wasn't much then either. Decorations and the characters in themed outfits. We were not impressed.

We just got off a Halloween cruise and they had characters in outfits, decorations (no story to go along with the tree, so I expect no interaction to go along with the gingerbread house at Xmas), a lame dance party on the deck which very few people showed up for and even fewer people stayed for, and candy bags for the children left in the room. We were not impressed.

Now, this doesn't mean we do not book these themed cruises; we just don't focus on it and enjoy everything else Disney has to offer.

Did you have a good time? I was thinking about taking my older daughter as she loves Halloween.
No one else in the family is interested in going. I was thinking it might be fun then forgot about
all the stuff that is missing. Besides some Halloween decorations was it any different from a reg
DCL cruise?

I love cruising with Disney and this time I loved it just as much as pre-covid. Great service, great food, relaxing, entertaining, and a great way to leave the 'real world' behind for a little while.

They didn't have all the Broadway shows, but I had seen the one they skipped on a previous cruise. They didn't have as much live entertainment as normal; we missed that a bit, but not dramatically so. No other changes impacted us significantly.
