VERY Lower fat options

Hello Everyone! I will be in WDW in just a few days from now. The only dining reservations that I made are for Sci-Fi Dine In, at The Studios. I would be heartbroken if I missed that one. I am a young 71 years of age. My gall bladder has been acting up, but it is not going to surgery yet. When I drastically reduced chocolate, and started to eat drastically reduced fat items, I really did feel better. I was at WDW at the same time last year, for 9 nights. For 5 of those nights, I had to sleep sitting up for a while, because my acid reflex or gall bladder (or both) was acting up
terribly. What are my best low fat choices for Magic Kingdom, and Epcot? Thanks so much!!

At Sci Fi my go to is their chicken salad… ask for the dressing on the side or bring your own. They may also have oil and vinegar, too but I never asked.

BTW, I’m a younger 72 so I totally understand!

I haven't looked for low-fat specifically, but I would check out Sunshine Seasons food court in Epcot, which has a lot of different options.

When my father in law dealt with this, his best bet was informing the waiter at sit down restaurants. They were always able to make him grilled chicken, veggies, salad etc.

Okay, so NOT the Adventureland Eggroll Cart! 🤣

At MK, Columbia Harbor House has a glazed salmon that might not be too bad, fat wise. CHH is a go-to anyway so it should be good.

Epcot should be a lot easier due to the significantly larger food choices. I agree that Sunshine Seasons should be a good choice - they also have a salmon and a Mediteranean veggie sandwich. There is also Coral Reef, as seafood is going to be a better call, as long as it's not fried of course. You will probably want to avoid the heavy palces - Biergarten, Le Cellier, the entire France Pavillion.

At Epcot, I think having the tofu and vegetable dish with a side of rice at Nine Dragons should be very low fat. I cannot picture a low-fat item at Sunshine Seasons, but they have a lot of options, so it's good to check.

As a PP suggested, you have a better chance of a low-fat meal at a TS (table service / sit-down) restaurant, since you can always talk to a chef and they will accommodate any request assuming they have the ingredients handy.
