Very loud pool music at Copper Creek

I requested a “quiet room away from pool music.” Well the pool music is very loud during nap but also until 10 pm. Despite a sound machine. Does this annoy anyone else like it does me? We still have 3 more nights. I doubt they even have a room for us to move to, and I worry how disruptive it may be in our schedules to get out of one room, wait on another room, etc.

You will have to accept noise.
Make the best of nap time.
Wear your child out so music doesn't bother them

Ugh. Sorry. We had this happen at BWV - not very restful when you come back for a midday break and the bass is thumping in your room. :(

I absolutely loathe pool view rooms because of the noise generated from pool parties and the movies under the stars.

We are not DVC but have rented points several times. We had a good/quiet (up high and opposite from the speakers) pool view DVC room at Jambo one time - tried to repeat it with a regular pool view room at AKL and we were directly above the speaker for the movie - it was an Avengers movie with lots of explosions and it was SO NOISY.

I guess some people love the loud pool parties, but my family does not.

Are you actually in a room that faces the pool? That's horrible that you're stuck there even though you asked for a quiet room. This is my big fear as I really struggle with noises.

I completely understand! During our stay at WL in 2015, before it was remodeled into Copper Creek, our room was on the top floor facing the courtyard/pool in what is now DVC. It wasn't the music that bothered us, it was the cast member shouting trivia questions into the microphone every afternoon! So frustrating!
We put in a request with the concierge that they ask the microphone to be turned down, but we were told that wasn't going to happen. They offered to move us across the hall, but we didn't want to give up the sounds of the creek in the am and late night. We could also see the tops of the fireworks.
I don't think loud music and trivia through a microphone go with the relaxing feel of the Pacific Northwest. I would expect maybe a dance party at Pop, a Beach Bash at BC/YC, steel drummers at Caribbean Beach, etc. Each should fit the theme of the resort!

Same! Absolutely loathe it. We moved rooms and I can still here loud music. I think we are above the speaker for the movie now. Geez. On a positive note, the a/c in this room actually works!!!

Yes. It was a room that actually faces the pool. Quite a disappointment after a written request 7 months prior.

Amen!! I also asked them to turn it down. Said it wasn’t happening.

Funny story,
Visiting Grand one afternoon.
Gst was upset with the music in lobby: Piano and orchestra. It was too loud.
Wanted them to play softer.

We’ve only ever had one bedrooms facing the main pool - I’ve never noticed the music but how close to the pool are you? We have historically been on the fifth floor closer to the lobby than the lake.

This was room 6109. Not close to the lobby. Facing main pool. I’m so glad we moved… the a/c works so well in this room.

One of the PRIMARY reasons I prefer BRV to CCV. That, and the larger rooms, but the sound of the pool, fireworks, and (depending on your location) the lobby and hallway traffic all add up to a hard "no" on CCV for me.

I’m on team BRV in the future!!

We are staying in BRV this summer for the first time! So excited! WL is our favorite resort and we can't wait!
