Is there anyone else out there looking and feeling like there is not much to choose from anymore? I think someone else did mention this but day after day I keep looking and looking and there is just not much! I am trying to stay on course about choosing my June use year etc... wow... making it so hard.. then I make an offer and I am still waiting to make a deal etc.

Whew.. this whole DVC thing is wearing me out!! I had to tell my son today it would probably be next Spring Break before we would be at Disney! UGH..

I purchased my first resale contract in 2015. I was looking for BCV with a use year good for summer/fall travel. I got a JUne UY. I love it for our travel habits, but when I went to add on, I had a hard time finding June UY. I thought it was just me. I was looking to add on a small contract at BLT. I ended up looking for months and ended up going with a 100 point contract because I didn't think I would ever get anything smaller.

Keep looking. It is worth it. And you will appreciate the wait when you get the right contract. Don't second guess yourself and buy something that won't work for you.

The listings tend to ebb and flow.
Around dues paying time (fall/winter) the number seems to increase.
I purposely chose a Dec. use year for my first contract, knowing it worked for our travel patterns and that I wanted to add on in the future and wanted a use year where my 'target' add on resort had lots of contracts in that use year (and even researched most common use year in each resort or something like that.) Then, I changed my 'target' resort, so all that Dec. use year for add on purposes wasn't quite as useful when it came time to add on
I just looked at a few agencies and June AKV in the 160 range contracts weren't very abundant - just 3 listings at 3 different agencies that I could find @ the moment, but listings pop up all the time - so search every day.
Meanwhile, make sure you are on the email notification system for all the agencies & maybe even call and let them know what you are in the market for. My first contract was not even listed when I got it, I called about another which had just gone pending but showed as available on the website, but they had another contract that had just come in and I got that one.

I'm not in a hurry, but I noticed a sudden shift. (I'm looking at AKV too, but I'm not looking at June, so don't worry about me getting the contact you need )

Good thing you are not in a hurry! That will help you not stress.... I originally wanted to do Thanksgiving trip but now thats not going to happen, thinking spring break.... I found one and offer accepted. The best thing to do is get on the email list.... I found mine from that and it didn't even make to the website.... so sign up so you can see everything come out first! Good luck!

I've noticed a slow decline in what's available in the last month or so, Not a lot left available now but so many "sale pending"!
