Very limited BOG hours in September?

I was able to get a 4pm reservation on 9/22. I'm going to keep checking for a later time, but at least we are in

Im about to cancel my 5:20pm reservation for the same day if that is any help

I managed to get an 8:25pm on 9/19

Ugh having to email is stressing me out. There are tables for 8 available on the night I want so we could do two tables of 8 but I know there is no guarantee we would be anywhere near each other if that is the route we took.

My personal thought on that would be to grab the two tables of 8 if you can get them as BoG disappears quickly... If they get back to you saying they have a table for your large party, you can cancel what you have. If they can't do it, at least you got everyone in.

Thanks to y'all, I changed my 5:35PM dinner to 7:15 on 09/06. I'd much rather be full when Wishes is happening than feel emptier than normal.

My personal thought on that would be to grab the two tables of 8 if you can get them as BoG disappears quickly... If they get back to you saying they have a table for your large party, you can cancel what you have. If they can't do it, at least you got everyone in.

Took your advice. The 2 reservations are 5 minutes apart so right now I kept the party of 16 for one night since I don't think that comes from the general pool, emailed to change the date on that, and have 2 reservations for parties of 8 for the night and time we actually wanted. Worst case I'll go to Be Our Guest the morning of the 17th and beg and plead with management to get our two parties of 8 right next to each other. I felt super bad asking people to either buy park hoppers, cut their day super short, or buy party tickets for the night we had.

Party nights may not open up as there were issues with people not understanding that for a party reservation you needed a party ticket. It would be much easier for them if they switched party times to walk up only but who knows what they'll do.

So my plan was to try for a 6:45 or 7:00 reservation on a party night but not the night we planned on going to the party, I thought because the park was closed at 7 it may still work but are you saying we couldn't have gone those nights without a Halloween party ticket ?
