Very late lunch at Biergarten

I am thinking of grabbing a 3:05pm ADR at Biergarten. On their online menu, it says lunch ends at 3:10 and dinner begins at 4:00pm.

Has anyone had an ADR at this time? How does it work?
I hope they keep putting out fresh food, and if so, is it lunch or dinner food? If it is lunch and you are there past 4pm, are you allowed to have some of the dinner food?
Also, does the band still play from 3:10-4:00pm?

Sorry I can't answer about the transition from lunch to dinner.

On the Steve Soares website the current band times are: 1:15, 2:15, 3:15, 4:45, 5:55, 7:00 and 8:05.

You won't even know about the transition of food. It's the best time to be there. There will be a few different dishes after the dinner time and that's all you will maybe notice. I never did but the husband saw there were some different items on the buffet.

The only thing you need to concern yourself with is making sure your bill is for lunch and not dinner (it was not a problem with our bill but just to be sure). Then, sit back relax, enjoy the show and the food and have a good time.

Does Disney give you a time limit in the buffets? Especially when changing from lunch to dinner?

I have been to places that give you 60 or 90 minutes (they mark the table holder), but if Disney doesn't then that would be great to remember for next time!

On our last trip we had an ADR at Biergarten for 5:30, we were there for two shows (5:55 and 7:00) and our table guests left a good 20 minutes before us. I am a slow eater and so are my kids. This is good for DH because he inhales his food and he can eat more and more before we're done:lmao:. The waitress didn't say anything to us about a time limit, but we did tip generously for taking so much time.

Nope. We were there at least two hours from lunch until dinner. The only thing that happened was I couldn't finish my huge German beer and my husband told the server that was the hold up. The server then just said "we have To Go cups" and provided us with two.

I love the Biergarden.
