Greetings,
Unfortunately, my FW and I being pretty much in the perfectly diagonal farthest point in the continental USA from Disney (Seattle, WA), our flight is going to take us pretty much all day, and in fact get in at 12:50am on Monday morning. (I.e. after midnight.)

We get airplane food (blech), and we can hit fast food in the airport along the way (blech), but we know we'll be starving when we get in. What food options are there at the Wilderness Lodge Resort at around 1:30am?

Suggestions, stories, and favorites from Room Service (if it's available that late) are welcome!

Welcome to the boards, I'm not sure about wilderness lodge as we are going in dec. but wanted to say flying from seattles not bad, we are from up north of spokane and have to fly from spokane to seattle then to mco, so ours will be longer. We can't get an overnight flight, wish we could as not to waste a whole day flying. Mum of two pirates

How about calling the Disney Dining phone number and ask? The phone number is 407-WDW-DINE = 407-939-3463. They are very helpful and might be able to supply the info you are looking for. If not, maybe they can give you the phone number to the Wilderness Lodge and you can ask someone at the hotel about the restaurants there.

We just booked that same hotel for early March. We've gotten wonderful recommendations to eat at the Whispering Canyon Cafe in WL and I just booked a reservation for our first evening. I have only heard great things about WL.

Have a fun trip.

After midnight, you are pretty much out of luck for food at Disney hotels. Your best bet will be to hit someplace like Denny's or Perkins on the way onto property if you are hungry.

We fly in from CA and always take a red eye. It gets us to the WL before 9:00 AM and in our experiences we have been given a room either right away or within an hour of arrival.

Are you going to be taking Magical Express?

Well, since we're getting in at 1am and have reservations and everything, I'm very much hoping we get a room immediately, although I'm a little concerned about our baggage and when it'll get in.

Are you going to be taking Magical Express?

Yes, we are, so I expect no Denny's on the way in, unfortunately. I'm also a bit worried that we'll get in, get a room, pass out into sleep, and then get a knock at 5am, waking us up again (or worse, not), to let us know the baggage has arrived...
