VERY late check in

Hi all! My family will be arriving for our very first stay at Universal next week -- staying at RPR (thanks for all the assistance in choosing a resort!). Our first night is Tuesday, 11/5, but our flight doesn't actually get into Orlando until after midnight on 11/6, so we'll be arriving at RPR at 1 a.m. at the earliest (should be fun with my 7 year old...).

I told them this when I originally booked our stay. Should I be contacting them again? I'm worried they may cancel our reservation if we don't show by a certain time on 11/5.

make sure it is in your ressie notes that you will be arriving after midnight for your checkin.

i call the hotel direct.
i get the hotel operator and have her transfer me to the front desk.

i am sure you will be fine when you arrive at the hotel if you call or not in advance.


i get edgy and it is one thing less for me to worry about if i call and make sure needed info is in my ressie notes.

Mac is spot on(as usual). I have done several late check-ins and I usually call the hotel direct that day to inform them. It probably isn't necessary, but it gives me peace of mind.

Wee Annie is probably just a WEEEE Bit tired!
I want to change my arrival time if I can catch a decent flight price...As of now, we are wheels down at 11 PM.....That HP 7 AM Opening comes VERY early the next day!
