Very late arrival at AKL

We will be arriving to check in at the AKL between 11pm and midnight. Will there be anyone there to help us with our luggage? Will they still take our luggage and put it in storage until we call after arriving in our room, or will they take it directly up to our room for us? We've never arrived that late before, so I'm not sure how it works.

We checked in at YC around 11 pm for our trip in Feb 2004. I assume the circumstances at AKL will be similar to what we experienced. The valet will still be on duty at that time and will be available to help with your luggage. Bell services will then bring your luggage to your room once they know where you will be. It all goes fairly smoothly.

Except for the fact that it is late and you will probably be somewhat worn out from traveling, this is actually a nice time to check in, because there is unlikely to be much waiting in lines.
