Very impressed with Virgin!

I know thi has been covered many times but, to add to the excitement of receiving my tickets yesterday, we got a call from our Virgin rep just now - and she was on the phone for nearly 20 minutes making sure we were all catered for. She has even offered to ring our hotel and ensure our room requests are looked at to save us ringing ahead in a few days time.

Only a little thing but I'm pretty impressed by it.

Yes I had a call last thursday from Kristen and she was the same with me.It is a nice touch and makes up for some of the shoddy service that sometimes happens from virgin.just lately:thumbsup2
 

I have to say they are doing quite well of late.
we had a problem with our booking and they have honoured us with free car hire/insurance.:thumbsup2
 
We had the phone call last week too! She was very nice and seemed genuinely interested in doing all she could for us!

PS Speaking of Virgin's service....two years ago we were at the Royal Pacific Hotel where the deal was that any child under 12 ate free with an adult. Only we completetly forgot about it for the whole two weeks!
When we got back I wrote to Virgin explaining what had happened, that my son had had breakfast every day and sent the few receipts I had hoping for a few $$ or a voucher! :rolleyes1
They sent me a cheque for $168 (14 days worth of breakfasts!) and apologised that no one had pointed it out to us while we were there! Result! :cool1:
 
Another thumbs up from me with virgin too :thumbsup2 they arranged my holiday and wedding in May they were fantastic, cannot fault them, got free champagne and cake on the plane going out, chocolate covered strawberries and champagne in our room on the wedding night, phone calls before leaving for Orlando, whilst their and also after we arrived home to make sure everything went OK for us and if we had any issues and as a thank you with booking with them a bottle of wine and a £200 off vouchure for our next holiday :)

We had a call from Kristen a week or so before we went (back in April now :sad2: ) she was lovely and helpful and told me all about the weather too!
