Very impressed with Disney

I have a 5 year old DD with moderate austim. We went took our first vacation with her since she was born last year. We decided on disney since she is a princess freak. The CM's were wonderful, and everyone treated her like she was their child. This is why we are planning on buying a DVC, for more magical vacations without the worry.

I am so glad you had a great trip! We were there the same time and had a fabulous one too. We got the GAC again for our DS (we have 6 year old BBG triplets) who is on the ASD. I agree, the CMs were fabulous, and the GAC is a lifesaver. We met another nice family in line at Peter Pan with a severely Autistic son and discussed how great Disney is for special needs kids.

We were going to take a non-Disney trip next year because DH wanted to try something different. Our trip was so awesome that halfway through he said lets go back to WDW next year! So we are hoping for free dining again, but have booked Christmas as a back up.

BTW, does anyone know if you can have vacation time during school written into your IEP? DS can't handle crowds, etc (you all know the ASD routine). Our principal excused all 5 days for all 3 of my kids because of my DS' needs, but if I could have it put into next years IEP it would be great.
