I am really serious here...
I have a huge problem this morning!
It is driving me crazy.
Do you ever put something Somwhere "safe"
and then when you need it you can't remember where you put it
I bought a new Coffee perk urn to bring to the job site for the guys -
so this morning I go through making muffins, getting the thing all set to go, and cant find the cord!
I have come and gone from the site - the urn is on my counter and I want THAT coffee NOW - and I still can't find the cord!
Perked coffee is soooo much better than drip!

Haha....when I find my safe place I will find hundreds of stamps, field trip permission silps, tweezers, nail clippers and countless other things.
Hopefully too the little doohicky thing for my food processor!

You must be my long lost sister, because just about everything disappears when I have had my hands on it.

Ask Saint Anthony to help you find it. My grandmother always told me to do this and it works everytime. :)

I do that ALL THE TIME! As a matter of fact it’s a joke in the house that if you want something hidden really, really good give it to Mom. :teeth:

I used to do that alot, now that I am more organized it does not happen as often as before! :umbrella:

Y a well if I hide christmas gifts or candy they find it :teeth:
Its just the really important things I put in a safe place
Glad to see I am not the only one!
I can't wait to move so I can 1- get organized and 2- finad all these things I do this with!

Did you look inside the urn? That's where I would put it if it were me....

Now, where is my son's library book? :confused3

Yup -
I remember when I brough tit home I couldn't clean it out right away so I put the cord "somewhere" for after I washed it out...
I washed it out...
fast forward 2 days later - I grabbed it - filled - put the coffee into it -
and DANG no cord.. and none of the others fit it - I tried!

I just wanted to let you know that guys do this too. I have, more then once, hidden gifts that I could not find later. I have also filed away important papers that I knew i was going to need again and when the time came when I needed them I could not find them. The last thing I lost was my eyeglasses about 4 months ago, luckily I had another pair available for emergencies.

P.S.
I found the glasses a couple of weeks ago in one of my dresser drawers behind a pile of handkerchiefs, I have absolutely no idea how they got there.

I put things away all the time because I have a curious toddler who will touch, taste, and break anything in his path. Of course I hide it so good, I can't find it :headache:

Maybe you should pretend you are moving now.

Seriously, I have considered doing this. I do do the test "Would I pay someone to move this item" when I am debating whether to keep, throw or donate stuff. Still, I am sooo unorganized and lose stuff all the time. I have decided that being unorganized is very expensive. If I got my act together, I might even be able to afford an extra trip to Disney!!

dd 1 wouldn't touch it - BUT DS 4 was intriqued with the new hot coffee maker thing as he calls it!
