We just became members when we closed in December, since we already had a trip planned and paid for in Jan we just banked our October use year points.

Today we just made our 1st DVC reservation!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's for Jan/Feb 2002

Since we have banked all the points from 2000 and have new points comming in 2001 we are really going to splurge.

4 nights AKL
4 day DCL on Wonder
6 nights home at BWV for the 1st time.

This is all very exciting except for the fact that we have 11 months to wait.

Are you staying at AKL on points? I didn't know if we could do that yet. If so, what was the point cost per night?

I know what you mean about having to wait. We usually take 2-3 trips on one AP and then wait a year before starting the cycle over again. We are now in that year off, so have to wait until Jan. 2001.

Yes you can stay at AKL for points. I don't remember how much I think 20 weedays and 40 weekends. You can check for sure on the DVC member page.
