I'm doing the BackStage Safari at AK on 10/1 and need to eat an early breakfast. What is the earliest any resturant in the world starts serving? I'm staying at Movies and, if necessary, can eat there before I leave, but I'd rather do a TS or buffet.

Any help appreciated,

Donald's Breakfastosaurus - if its still open when you'll be there - has ADRs from 8:00 a.m. on. Rainforest Cafe serves breakfast but a quick search didn't tell me what time they open - you might want to call Disney dining or RFC directly at (407) 938-9100

I think the last serving at DB is on 11/5 if I remember correctly. Also, I think my Safari is scheduled for 8:30 am. I'm thinking I'll need to eat about 7 am to get to AK by 8:30 if I do a buffet.

How about a quick detour to Boma at AKL? I think it and RFC might be your only options if you want to be in the AK area.

I agree, Boma at AKL, I have a 7:45 ressie, and if I remember right, I think they offered 7:30. Worth checking into.

Ok never heard of Boma except that according to everything I've read, it's excellent. Where is it located at the AKL? I'm presuming it's inside.

I have a 7:30 a.m. breakfast ressie at Boma on 9/23. It is inside at AKL. I've only been there for dinner there before (fabulous food!) and am very excited to try breakfast. I'll be taking a taxi there to ensure I arrive on time. Then will take a WDW bus to AK after.

Here is a link to the menu:

I think 10/1 is an early morning for AK. I'd love to try Boma. Now, I know this is going to stir up a hornets nest, but with the new refillable mug program where they all look the same, can I bring mine from Movies and use it at AKL? I'm betting everyone will scream NOOOOO! :rotfl2:

I would imagine so...but what would be the point. Then you would have to lug around an empty mug all day long. Since Boma is a buffet, your beverage would be included.

Plus the place you would fill it, Mara, isn't really all that close to Boma - out the doors, down a ways, and around a corner (if memory serves me correctly)

OIC, thanks! See, this is why I post here. I allways get an intelligent response.
