Made a last minute decision to go to the Magic Kingdom for opening day of the 50th. I do have park reservations and currently have the following nights booked:
9/17-25 Ft Wilderness
9/26-29 Universal Orlando
9/30 Ft Wilderness campsite
10/1-2 All Star Music (checkout 10/3)

I am checking several times daily to try to move my 9/30-10/2 nights to one resort but this is all I can find so far. How early can I move my camper van to ASMu? I don’t need to check in, just want to be on the first bus to the MK. Will they let me park before 6:00?

Thanks!

Could you leave the camper in the big parking lot at the front of Fort Wilderness and grab it later in the day to check in at ASMu?

Thanks! That is my plan B. I kinda want to move it before if possible in case I want to have a celebratory cocktail at lunch.

I have arrived at various WDW resorts on check in day at 5:00 am. Obviously I don’t get a room that early (well, once) but flights come in at all hours, and people may drive all night, so there are always people arriving. You should be able to move your camper van at the resort by 6:00am (I believe that is the time the calendar flips to a new “day” as far as check ins are concerned) and it’s possible you might be able to move it earlier. Have you tried contacting the resort directly, since they may have different rules for resort parking that weekend than normal?
