On my way home this afternoon, I came up on a wreck within seconds after it happened. It was a car & a motorcycle. I was behing a big truck with a big boat so I couldnt see in front of it, I just knew it had stopped. When the truck turned around, I motioned to him to roll his window and I told him that I wsa going to follow him as he was going an alternate route. As I was turning around, I saw a man and a woman laying on the road, obviously dead. The people there (witnesses and ppl that were @ home) were frantic, no one was helping the victims (cuz there was obviously nothing to help).
What was really disturbing was a young girl, obviously had been driving the car that hit them, was inconsolable. I don't know the curcumstances of the wreck, (like who's "fault") but I know as I was turning around, I caught a glimpse of the young girl and I realized that she would never be the same. There was something in her wailing/crying/screaming/distraughtness/hysteria that told me that she would be effected for the rest of her life.
I know this is long, I just am so disturbed right now. I have seen really bad car wrecks before and seeing a mangled car is very disturbing, but to see 2 dead people on the road and a hysterical young girl is an image that will NEVER leave my mind.
Sorry this is so long, if you read it all, thanks.
