I have $26 of rewards to use by tomorrow, so I thought I'd browse the website. All I'm trying to do is look at coats for my daughter...it's difficult to search in the first place, but then when I DO see a coat that is a possibility, it's not even sold by Sears! It says "advertised by sears" and takes you to a totally different website. It's so skeevy...not liking it AT ALL! What is Sears thinking with this idea? It's aweful. If I wanted to shop at a variety of stores, I'd use Amazon or buy.com, etc. :headache:

Ya, I'm not a fan of their site either. I get these offers in my email for $10 off any item with Shop Your Way Rewards, but then I have to pay shipping so it's not worth it.

If you look at the top of the page when you are searching, you will see two tabs. One says "All Items" or something like that. The other says "Sears only". If you click on that tab, you will see the items sold by Sears.

Shipping may be free with a minimum purchase amount, or free if picked up at the store. That's worth investigating. I bought several new appliances last year, then got some free clothes from Land's End online during one of their 40% sales. :thumbsup2

So if I get something on the Lands End site, I can apply my 'Sears' rewards? That would be ok I guess.

Sears website is the worst. Painfully slow and you spend all that time adding things to your cart only to find out at checkout it's not available.

I'm not a fan of their site OR their stores...Sears is just so "cheap" to me...:rolleyes2

I have always been able to apply my Sears rewards that accumulate with purchases to Lands End, but have not tried a $ off coupon tied to the rewards like the pp described.

I had a really bad experience with sears over the last few months. I was finally fed up so I was going to post on their facebook page... but then I looked at all the complaints already there and figured it wouldn't do any good.

I also had rewards points so I ordered.. got a pickup notice.. went to pick up and it wasn't there. Emailed to find out what was going on and five days later got a "sorry your order was cancelled". Expected a refund for both the rewards and $ and about 8 days later nothing. Emailed several times over a 3 week period without a response then when I finally got one it was a prove you didn't get a refund. Thankfully I had used paypal so it was easy to send the info. Sent it they said 10 days for a refund. 19 days later I emailed again they said sorry we have no record.

I disputed thru paypal and got immediately refunded but still haven't gotten my $20 in rewards back.
