Ok, this looks like a lot of fun (and hey, sneak in a little learning on vacation, always a good thing, lol). It's about 30 miles from Disneyland, in Hollywood.

Da Vinci Hollywood Exhibit
Admission for Two Adults and Three Children with $10 Gift Shop Credit: $28.00
(Just an FYI: I wrote and asked about what age consitutes a child since I have teens...."children/students" are ages 5 to 18. Children under 5 are free.) This deal needs to be purchased by April 24, but you have until October 25, 2011 to use the voucher.

A unique exhibit of machines described, designed, and developed by Leonardo da Vinci in addition to reproductions of his most important artistic contributions.

Exhibit Includes
More than 60 full-sized interactive replica macines
More than 20 reproductions of his works of art
Three Galleries with two devoted to the Mona Lisa and The Last Supper
Activity area with more than 30 intriguing games to play and models to build
Books, puzzles, and souvenirs to acquire, many of which are not available outside of the Davinci Gift Store
(More details at Leonard Da Vinci Exhibit website)

Ugh...just realized that this should be in the SubForum Southern California, sorry. I'll repost it there!

We saw this exhibit in 2008 in New Zealand, and it is fantastic. It's well worth it.
