I entered for the free ticket on super bowl sunday, and then I entered for my sister (since she wasn't home). My sister got an email saying she had won, but I didn't get the email, so I assumed I didn't win. BUT I got an email this morning asking me to participate in an online survey, I'm sure a lot of you got this email as well, but the strange thing is that it stated 'In appreciation for your participation you will automatically be entered into an exclusive drawing to win four additional park tickets (Just like the one you received for free, worth almost $100 each). Okay, now doesn't that sound like I won a free ticket???? Why didn't I get an email confirmation???? I'm SO confused!:confused3 What should I do now? I wonder if there is anyway to contact them??? And I did check my delete emails just to make sure I didn't delete it and not realize it , but nope nothing there either.

Hmm? Not sUre what this is aboUt. I emailed them too wondering if I had one. I haven't rec'vd a response yet, bUt if I do I'll come back and post.

Did yoU enter the contest?

I also received a survey email and began wondering if this is being sent to people who may have entered more than once from an address or email account. Do you think Universal would try to confirm if anyone violated the rules by entering more than once, whether under different names or whatever?

Possibly a conspiracy theory but just thought I'd ask.............

I just got the survey email saying that I could win 4 additional tickets too (in addition to the one I already won). Problem is, I too didn't get any confirmation saying I won a ticket . I only entered one time for just myself. Very confusing indeed!

I also received this survery and just took it. Within the survery, they referenced the free ticket I won but I never received an email that I won! Anyone know who I can email to inquire whether or not I won? They did ask confidential questions regarding whether you knew that the promotion was for one person per household. It also asked if you entered for more than 1 person.

I just wnat to know whether I really won or not!

Are you sure the survey e-mail was for real? I did win a pass and have not received the survey e-mail could someone just be trying to get info?

Hmmm, that's a thought, I haven't taken the survey yet, no time (I'm supposed to be leaving for work right now! :rolleyes1 I'll check back this evening to see if anyone has figured this out. If anyone that did win the free ticket and got this email, please let us know. Thanks!

No doubt the survery is real. I have taken numerous surverys for Universal, They did not ask for any personal infomation and it got into the nitty gritty of advertising slogans.

I won a ticket - but didn't get a survey e-mail today.

Both me and an extended family member I registered for the contest both won tickets and both received the survey e-mail. The survey did ask some questions about understanding the rules of the contest - if you understood that it was limited to one per household. It asked some background info - age; if you have kids and their age range; household income; where you live, etc. A lot of questions on the effectiveness of the commercial and opinions on various marketing slogans & questions (wanted your opinion on whether they should market/advertise Universal on its own or whether should market - while you are in Orlando or at Disney stop at Universal); also questions about trips you have taken or will take to the Orlando area. The survey emphasized that responses would be anoyomous.

omg!!! Just when I finally convinced myself I was a loser and was not checking my email every 15 minutes and now this! YIKES here I go again! I still have not gotten a survey email but one can only hope! LOL

Wonder if this is in response to a lot of complaints? Wonder if people signed up for friends or family and now realize they can't use them because it said, "One per Household".
I'm just thinking that maybe they were getting a lot of complaints and they wanted to see if people read the rules, etc.
They probably also wanted to see if their marketing tool worked.
Just a guess though.

I think when you have a contest where the first so many entries received win -most are not going to read the rules first; they are going to just fill out the entry as fast as possible and submit; and, if possible, try to submit multiple entries

I received the universal survey 2 days ago.

I receive them frequently during the year.

When you sign up for a contest, and if you checked the receive future mailings, you might get the surveys time to time.

I signed up 3 years ago and get them for all types of things. Some surveys were extremely long and others quick and short.

All people that enter the survey are put into a "win 4 tickets" for their participation of completing the survey.

I would think they pick people based on geographic locations for some of the surveys.

The part I'm questioning is this statement within the email ---'In appreciation for your participation you will automatically be entered into an exclusive drawing to win four additional park tickets (Just like the one you received for free, worth almost $100 each).' Oh well, I'll just have to wait and see if I receive anything in the mail within the next 6 to 8 weeks. Hopefully I won, but either way I'm still going to Universal in June!!!!

I did sign up my sister (because she is going with us), but she has a different email address and a different mailing address, so I didn't sign up for more than one ticket per household. And I only signed myself and my sister up one time. So I did abide by the rules, I was very curious to why my sister would win one but I didn't, since I signed myself up first and minutes later her. :confused3

jewell, if you received the survey, then it states there you have already won a ticket from the Superbowl contest.
They had your address from the contest to send you the survey.
Let's assume that some of the email confirmations were not all sent out to the winners.

There was a section in the survey that stated your answers are kept confidential. Remember the section where it stated if you received additional tickets and went to sell them on Ebay, they would not be able to trace you from the survey?
That made me think they are not going to screen how many entries were from the same household. I could be wrong but don't think they are going to deny any of the winners.

I called two of my friends when the ad ran and we all signed up. The second friend I called got her confirmation saying she had won, but the first one I called did not, even though he entered before the other person, by at least 10 minutes. I guess its possible the email was tossed by some spam blocker, so I guess he'll get a letter in the mail if he won, even though he hasn't got any kind of email even confirming he entered.

Is there a place to email them to confirm?

Good luck in straightening this out...it sounds too confusing for my simple mind. :rolleyes1

Sounds like it's possible they sent the e-mail to the wrong group of people.

Unless I missed it, it seems everyone who won a free ticket didn't get the survey, but people who "lost" did.
