Very cheap NYC flights

I looked at hotels through booking.com. Not many of the hotels came up with rooms for 3 or with the option to add a third person.

Dont know if this helps .............. we've booked the Radio City Apartments which offers 1 or 2 bedrooms and it's close to Times Square ...... cant make any promises but the review look good.

Have a look at the Comfort Inn Manhattan - we stayed there two weeks ago and would stay there again any time. Good location, free wi-fi, free breakfast, and the prices weren't too bad at all

I think the Statue of Liberty looks much more impressive than the Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel Tower is pretty much a glorified Blackpool Tower, no?!

Random geeky fact alert - the inside of The Statue of Liberty is based on the same principle as the Eiffel Tower as it was Mr Eiffel who designed it!

Apartment rental is quite a cheaper option in manhattan

Apartment rentals are Illegal in NYC, don't even bother with them.

For good hotel deals, try travelzoo.com, hotels deals pop up 1-3months in advance

I booked a package last week as it was quite a bit cheaper than DIY and now it would just work out the same.

I looked at hotels through booking.com. Not many of the hotels came up with rooms for 3 or with the option to add a third person.

We stayed at the Roosevelt and had a room with two double beds. Apparently it was a free room upgrade and cost an extra $80 a night which seems a lot for an extra bed. The room was a good size though, the rooms for just 2 people look really small. I noticed on Expedia that there is a good deal on flight and hotel package on the palace, not sure how many their rooms sleep though.
