Why brief? Because on the day I arrived back home, I poured my heart out to you guys the way I have for many years after I return from a WDW vacation. I finished my detailed masterpiece and proceeded to bump some unknown key on the computer key board and it ALL VANISHED! Poof! Gone...never to be retrieved. I literally almost cried...I think maybe I did. I have not had the heart to even attempt it since. Today, I flamed Tutto Italia in response to a question and then I thought I would take a brief time to review a few restaurants from our December vacation. We are a family of eight on the DDP. We have dined at the majority of restaurants on property during the 22 vacations we have spent there.
Here goes:
Teppan Edo--Arguably the highlight of our trip. Fantastic at every turn. Most of us ordered the beef. The green tea flan-like dessert was the favorite of the night. Fun!

---

Kona--Zillionth time to eat here. Has only disappointed once and December was far from a disappointment. Tied for first place. Would not do the macadamia nut pie again. Couldn't finish it. Would have still gone with the banana creme brulee--son's was fanastic! Can't go wrong with those sticky wings, either!

Tutto Italia--We can't remember ever being so disappointed. Roberto, our server, was the worst server we have ever had at any restaurant--period. He was very fortunate that in December he did not have to work for his tip. Wonder how he is handling that with the new DDP? I had to call the manager over to the table several times for silly things like asking for silverware that Roberto wouldn't bring when requested. No drink refills. The food is almost not even worth mentioning. Most of us ordered the steak--don't remember what it is called. I just can't begin to tell you how bad it was. Some of the pasta dishes that I see raved about on this board were ordered and were just so very, very underwhelming. I truly just don't get the raves. The mozzarella/ tomato salad that most of us ordered didn't even have a balsamic dressing to give flavor. I asked for some--but did I receive it? No... $14 for dessert? Hopes were resting on this--and found wanting. The restaurant is beautiful. I am not saying that you could not have a nice experience there. You probably will. My mom thought it was good when she went a few months earlier. Our bill was in the neighborhood of $560-$580. Folks...I think NOT! Enough said.
---

Yak & Yeti--Fabulous server. Interesting decor (walk around). Terrible lettuce wraps. Most of the family enjoyed their meals. I did not. I would go again and just not order the same items. It is worth another chance.
Wolfgang Puck Cafe--Strange flavor combinations (just kept saying "this flavor combination just doesn't quite work"). No real stand-outs (except the fantastic iced tea) We ordered it all and thought everything was "ok". One of the worst "eggy" creme brulees I have had. Could only eat two bites of the dense chocolate cake. Wayyy too rich and I adore chocolate. Would not bother to go back. Service was good.

This review probably won't help anyone, but it felt good to finally get a few words out about our experience. I am just sorry about my original reviews--done when all the details were fresh in my mind.
