Just got back for a 9 day stay with DDP. This report will be short & sweet, but feel free to ask any questions you may have.
Table Service (in night order)
The Turf Club - awesome choice, 5 perfect meals with very friendly service!! The cabernet reduction on the meats was amazing!!
Liberty Tree Tavern - lots of food quickly. Cranberry chutney, potatoes & gravy were the big hits here.
Mama Melrose - we had the "Fantasmic Package" which allowed us some appy's. They were all delicious......Cold Antipasto, Oysters, Fresh Mozzarella. The dinners were good too if not ordering a tomato sauce-based entree.
'Ohana's - my hubby's idea of heaven......a dinner of unlimited meats
I actually liked this more than I thought I would. The spring rolls, chicken wings and shrimp were all very good!
Boma - a unique & delicious meal. Some faves were the hummus, lamb curry stew (soooo good), the seafood soup, the coconut soup & desserts!!
Le Cellier - hubby deemed this his "favorite meal of his life". I'd be insulted if I didn't agree
Both the sirloin steak & the filet mignon were outrageously tender and scrumptious!! All the sides and the cheddar beer soup were hits as well!!
Le Chefs de France - we bought an extra ticket for this day just to dine here so my daughter could meet Remy (not guaranteed). We weren't expecting much but everyone loved their meals: braised short ribs, salmon, seafood pasta. Awesome French Onion & Seafood Bisque, too!! But the best part of the meal?? Remy paid us a visit!!
Boatwright's (at POR) - surprisingly great food!!! I wouldn't come here to eat dinner because the atmosphere is loud & cafeteria-like with absolutely NO ambience & you'll be pissed off about the prices. But, if it's your home resort & you feel like staying in...............
Teppan Edo - the most fun meal we had! We LOVED our chef!! People say the portions are pretty small but we found it to be adequate. We didn't leave much on our plates but we sure didn't leave hungry! My family tried it all: steak, chicken, scallops & shrimp. The scallops were especially good!!
Missing Disney already..............
