Very basic DVC question - can someone help me???

Am having a bit of a block over this one - can someone check it out for me, please????

My use year starts March 1st

I have 0 points remaining for the 2012/13 year
I have 3 for the 2013/14 year
I have 160 for the 2014/15 year
I have 160 for the 2015/16 year

Our next planned trip in in early April 2014, so I'll book at our home resort 11 months out (May 2013)

Am I correct in thinking I can pull forward the points for 2015/16 to use in April 14?

(We will only head across from the UK every 2 years, so whipping the balance like this isn't a problem for us!)

With a March UY, your 2013 UY begins on March 1st. That UY ends February 28th, 2014. Your '14 UY begins March 1, 2014. An April, 2014 trip is in your '14 UY, so yes, you can borrow points from your '15 UY to book the trip.

It helps me to remember what UY the trip is taking place in. Try not to think about when you are calling to book as that does not affect which points you are using. Hope this helps!

Also, if you want to use the 3 points left in your '13 UY for your April '14 ressie, just bank them before you book and you can use those, too!

Many thanks. We're going to need exactly 323 points I reckon, but I'll bank the 3 points over when I book the 2014 stay in a few months time. (Just called to pay my dues and checked that there was nothing to do at the moment!)
