Very Bad Day

UGH. So due to a doctor on vacation for 14 days, we ran out of my sons Concerta I will take the blame, I did not realize he was going away. We were one day short. But today, a school day, he did not have his 45 mg dose. I did not send him. I knew that the teacher would call me in a few minutes to pick him up if I did, I did go in and request his homework this morning and took in last nights homework.

Well I picked up the homework, 10 Pages for 4th grade, and they are all long the shortest is a division page with 5 word problems. We have been working since 3 pm it is now almost 530. He keeps screaming and being really snarky. Of course my fiance took his little girl to visit grandma this evening (grandma needs her time alone with her, whole other story lol) and I am here...
Trying to help with homework. Most likely for a couple more hours. Somedays I really need a break. And my throat is hurting lol I am not a yeller but I am a growler.

And yes, I know that I need to keep my cool, and he can't help his brain from going a million miles an hour.
But I am still angry, and tired, and really need a break.

Sorry. Doesn't your doctor have an associate as an emergency contact who can write a prescription to get you through til your regular doctor gets back?

We got them for tomorrow. But no he did not have anyone on call for him or any one like that at his office

I know this doesn't help now, but dd's doctor writes her 3 one month scrips at a time. She dates the latter 2 for the appropriate dates, so they can't be filled early. Maybe your doctor could do something like that.
