Vero - Wireless Internet?

I've heard they don't have it in the rooms. Anyone been there lately that can confirm? Thanks.

We were just there in early December and could not get it to work in our room (4th floor OVIR). We were able to use it down in the lobby and I saw using it out by the pool as well.

Some 2nd floor inn rooms north of the lobby pickup wireless. Last time there it was only in the lobby. Glad to see it at least they added the pool area. VB is so small, I don't understand why the can't at least have it throughout the Inn.

Greta News!!!! When we were there in August they were install the wireless access point in Eb and Flo's. Wasn't sure if it was up and running. Now what to do about a 3 hour battery and a mad family because Dad is still on the computer!!!

Just left the resort yesterday. They said they would have wireless to all the rooms in the spring.

Yes spring 2008. I don't know why they couldn't get in sooner. They were repainting building when we were there that didn't look like they needed it. I would have spent that time and money on the wireless internet. The wireless they have in the lobby doesn't work that great either.

Well, if you can get wireless internet service in the lobby of the vero beach resort and by the pool, that is a heck of a lot better than having to drive to the local library and trying to find a hot spot there.

Has anyone confirmed being able to sit by the pool and get on the internet? how about sitting in the lobby? I don't have to work too much while I'm on vacation, but staying in touch can help assure I have a desk when I get back.....

Definitely in the lobby. I have used it many times. I do the same thing. Take care of emails and simple issues before starting the day. Makes it more relaxing to know what is going on.

Lobby for sure. Not sure about the pool. Didn't really want to take my lap top to the pool. With my luck it would get wet.

Just returned from Vero last week and internet at the pool still is very very spotty! When I was there in Aug of 07 they said it would be available soon! Bummer ........ still have to go to the lobby to get the free access.

In January, no password was needed - just hop right on.

Nope no password... it is free and open.

I talked with a couple staying in one of the Inn rooms. They told me they got wireless in there room. Probably picked up the signal from the lobby.

When will you be there? When I was there in January they said they would have wireless resort wide in the spring. Spring is close.
