Vero Teen Activities?

There are plenty of activities for my seven year old, but is there anything planned for teens?

We were there june 2008 my kids were 14 and 16 at the time... and the answer is No. Not a whole lot. The few activities there were.... comunal lawn games... kickball etc... my kids did not want to join a bunch of kids they did not know... the few of them there were. However... my daughter did sign up for a yoga class and enjoyed it very much.

There aren't as many activities for teens but our teen age sons have participated in snorkeling lessons, diving lessons in the pool, took a surfing lesson, bogie boarding, gone on bike rides and also kayaking. There have been walks on the beach with a naturalists that we have done as a family. Last time we were there a group of teens got together while hanging out at the beach and then all ended up going to the campfire together that night. It just depends on what your kids like to do.

Looking at the Activity sheet I remembered to bring home, teen activites are listed at the bottom of every days activities.

On Saturday at noon, Teen Ice Breaker

Also during the week Teen capture the flag, teen flag football(that was really popular when we were there, a lot of kids playing), archery, dodge ball and volleyball.

Now my youngest(8) made friends with a teenage girl while doing the Faux Gyotaku(aka painting a t-shirt). They said "hi" to each other for the rest of the week.
