Vero or HH in July?

What's better: Vero Beach or Hilton Head in mid-July? We'll be two adults for five days, celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. We've never been to either resort, and would love some advice. Thanks in advance!

Well... Neither is really better. I think if you love the beach and/or being in the ocean water then Vero will offer a better time with the beach being right there. HHI might be a little cooler if you are easily aggrivated by the heat. This is the hottest time of year in both places.

And if you are talking this year, Vero would probably be more likely to have rooms available. HH books up full during the summer, making it difficult to impossible to get a reservation if you are not an owner.

Thanks! Mikesmom is right: HH full, so we'll happily head to Vero Beach. (I'm actually glad that our decision was made easier by HH being full.) They both sound wonderful.

Trust me in July HH is not going to be any cooler than VB. I say please do VB I've been having a hard enough time getting HH.
