Vero Garden view

Hello, I just booked 3 nights for me and the family for Vero beach (One of our favs), and I have always stayed in an Inn Ocean view. Well, I couldn't get that so I booked an Inn Garden view studio instead. Can anyome tell how these rooms are? The view? pics etc..

I don't have pictures to share, just info.

My parents were in a garden view room a few years ago while my family was in an ocean view room. They much preferred their room over ours.
It seems some of the garden view rooms are extra large and have an odd layout.
Entering their villa, there was a long sitting area. Then as you rounded the corner was the rest of the room with a typical inn room setup. It was a huge space.
Their view was of some trees, a walkway, more villas and small bit of parking lot. It wasn't a bad view at all.

We've stayed in both, and while we prefer the ocean view, the garden view isn't bad. You're just looking over the front of the inn instead of the back. Just imagine the area you drove through to reach VB, with lots of puffy clouds in the sky, and that's your view. The savings in points can make it really worth a second-choice view.

That's good to hear and thanks for the posts. I am concerned of getting the famous "garbage can view". lol We once stayed at VWL and had the garbage can view.

There is a Vero Beach lovers thread on here that has some great pics and info. Perhaps check there for garden view rooms.

Regardless of the view, you will be at Vero. We think it is a lovely resort and have had two great visits there.

Asside from my home resort I have been to Vero the most. We love it there! In fact when I booked, the options were two nights in ocean view or three nights garden view. I took the garden view so we can have the xtra night.

We had one of the "odd" garden view Inn room in Aug 2008 (and loved it). The room was so big we could have had a party in it. Photos from that visit (please keep in mind the rooms have been remodeled since '08---new bedspreads/carpet etc) :

Kind of OT, but are those actually windows you can open!! I'd love to be able to open a window in the evening vs having canned air!!

We were just at VB last week and had a similar room, but at the front and with ocean view windows and they did not open. DH was disappointed by this also, but otherwise it was a great room.

No, unfortunately, windows could not be opened......only fresh air was from balcony.

We just spent 1 night prior to our Dream cruise there. We had an Ocean view there in Oct. Both were great rooms. It is now our official cruise place. We love Vero!

I am guessing that becaus it was a resort-related question, it got moved to resorts. I think it was just keeping the boards more organized, and it wasn't meant to be anything personal.

(And I am an Illini fan, so I don't have any say in your rivalry )
