Vero for a week, too long?

Just how far is the space center from Vero?

I think it is about 70 miles from Vero. We spent the whole day there.

The second time that we stayed at Vero, we watched a space shuttle launch right from our balcony! That was really cool!

We've got 10 days planned for Vero at the end of June/beginning of July, and it doesn't sound like too much for me!

I just spent 30 minutes or so catching up on starbox's 35 day trip report from last May - wow! I took copious notes on the restaurants and activities - certainly doesn't look like we'll be lacking for activities while were there!

Even if we just hang at the beach, go shopping, and go see movies, it certainly will be a nice change from the running around this working mom does 7 days a week!
