Vero Beach

I'm thinking about becoming a DVC member. I've noticed that the availability of Vero Beach is much greater than the other resorts and also, cheaper on the resale market. If I become a DVC member, I would want to book mostly at the Disney on-site resorts.

For all you DVC members out there who have Vero Beach as their home resort, please let me know your experience at being able to reserve rooms at the Disney on-site resorts.

If you are looking to stay mainly at a DVC resort at WDW, I would not buy at VB. We own there because we go there at least once a year, and for the Beach Cottages.
But we also have pts at OKW so we have the 11 month window at both places...........VB+OKW.
The dues are the highest at VB so you would be better off buying at a WDW DVC resort to have the lower dues, especially if you don't plan on going to VB very often

You should buy where you want to stay most of the time, even if it means going the re-sale route.

Agreed. Buy where you want to stay most often. Don't buy Vero with the intent of staying on-site most of the time.
